The Fawn Pattern Check

Do you say yes before you've checked whether you mean it?

Most people-pleasers don't think of themselves as people-pleasers. They think of themselves as easygoing, or helpful, or just "not wanting to make a fuss."

Underneath, something else is often going on: an old survival response called fawning. Your nervous system learned, a long time ago, that keeping other people happy was the safest place to be.

This check will show you two things:

1. How strong the pattern is for you right now.
2. Which of the four faces of fawning you wear most: the Agreer, the Over-Functioner, the Apologizer, or the Disappearer.

16 statements. About 3 minutes. Answer for how you usually are, not how you wish you were.

This is a reflection tool for self-understanding. It isn't a clinical assessment or a diagnosis.

How often is this true for you?
