A writer, psychotherapist, and mother of four whose work is rooted in the belief that relationships, especially the ones we have with ourselves and those we love, are the heart of healing. Raised in Aiken, South Carolina, Carolyn carries its magnolias, beauty, and quiet front porch wisdom in her heart, no matter where life takes her.
With decades of experience in grief work, psychotherapy, and spiritual growth, Carolyn writes stories that help families navigate big feelings with tenderness and truth. She is the creator of The Adventures of Max and Papa series and the founder of Max & Papa’s Front Porch Club, a heartfelt space where stories become tools for emotional connection, healing, and wholeness.
