Grief Doesn't Move in a Straight Line. Neither Does Healing.
You don't need someone to tell you to "move on." You need someone who understands that grief looks different on everyone — and who can walk with you through it, wherever you are.
I'm Carolyn Tucker, an online grief coach and author of Navigating the Journey of Grief, Finding Yourself Through the Sacred Lens of the Enneagram, a book exploring how different personality types experience and move through loss. Whether you're newly grieving or carrying a loss you've never quite set down, there's a path forward that actually fits you — not a one-size-fits-all five-stage chart.

The Book: Navigating the Journey of Grief
Grief isn't just an emotion — it's shaped by who you are. A deep feeler processes loss differently than a fixer, a planner, or someone who copes through logic and control. Navigating the Journey of Grief is built around that idea: understanding your personality type as the key to understanding your grief.
Inside, you'll find:
- How different personality types experience and express grief
- Why the grief "stages" model doesn't fit everyone — and what does
- Practical ways to move through loss without forcing yourself into someone else's timeline
- Language and tools to help the people around you actually understand what you need
Individual Grief CoachingÂ
Some grief needs one-on-one space. Individual grief coaching is a private, ongoing partnership where we work through your specific loss, your specific personality, and what healing actually looks like for you — not a checklist, a real relationship built session by session.
This is coaching, not clinical treatment — a supportive, growth-focused space to help you process loss and move forward, offered online so you can work with me from anywhere.
What individual grief coaching includes:
- One-on-one virtual sessions, scheduled around your life
- A personalized approach based on your personality and how you naturally process loss
- Practical tools you can return to long after our work together ends

I'M CAROLYN.
As a mother who experienced the unimaginable loss of my beloved oldest child to an accidental overdose, I found myself thrust into the depths of grief I never thought I’d have to face. Navigating the shock, pain, and sorrow required more than just inner strength—it demanded that I seek out and personally apply tools and interventions to help me survive and eventually heal. This painful, yet transformative journey allowed me to gain firsthand knowledge of what works when it comes to processing and moving through grief.
My personal experience has become the foundation of how I approach my work as a grief coach. I’ve walked this path myself, and I’ve tested and honed the skills needed to cope with loss in a way that honors both the pain and the healing process. But my journey doesn't end with my own story—I’ve spent years supporting others as they navigate their own unique grief journeys, witnessing the ways grief touches each life differently. This combination of personal experience and professional expertise informs every aspect of how I guide my clients, offering them empathy, practical tools, and compassionate support as they move through their grief and toward a renewed sense of hope and peace.
Having a trusted coach in your life can create profound shifts—helping you uncover insights and perspectives you may have never seen on your own. Grief, in particular, can cloud our vision, making it difficult to see a way forward or understand the deeper meaning behind our pain. As your Transformation Coach, I am here to help you navigate these uncertain times and to support you in discovering the path that your soul is meant to take.
In The Grief Portal, we’ll come together as a community, not only to share our stories but to look beyond the sorrow and explore the possibilities for healing and transformation. Grief has a way of shaking us to our core, but it also opens the door to profound personal growth. With guidance, you can begin to recognize the unique path your journey is asking you to follow.
I take my role as a Transformation Coach seriously because I know how deeply personal and challenging this process can be. It is my honor to walk alongside you in this vulnerable time, providing you with the tools, support, and compassionate presence you need to make sense of your grief. Together, we’ll find your answers—not by rushing through the pain, but by allowing space for healing, reflection, and ultimately, transformation.
When you join me in coaching; you’re entering a safe, sacred space where your emotions are honored, and your healing journey is witnessed. This is where you can rebuild your strength, connect with someone who understand your journey, and begin to uncover the new path that is waiting for you.
I look forward to being your confidant, your guide, and your witness as you find your way through grief and begin to rediscover the light that still exists within.

Why the peacock?
The peacock is often used to symbolize growth and transformation in various spiritual traditions. Its stunning display of vibrant feathers represents the unfolding of one's inner beauty and potential. In Hinduism, the peacock is associated with the goddess Saraswati, symbolizing wisdom and spiritual growth. In Christianity, its regenerative abilities, such as shedding old feathers and growing new ones, are seen as a metaphor for spiritual renewal and rebirth. In Buddhism, it is associated with wisdom and enlightenment. Across cultures, the peacock's symbolism reminds us of the continuous journey toward self-discovery and inner growth, making it a fitting symbol for the transformative journey explored in The Grief Portal.
